Since it’s inception GEMS Girls Educated and Motivated to Succeed has been honored to present at the 2nd and 3rd Annual National Conferences on Mean Girls, Relational Aggression and Other Forms of Bullying hosted by Developmental Resources, Inc. The resources and networking opportunities it provided were amazing! Keynote speakers included, but were not limited to, Trudy Ludwig, Rosalind Wiseman, and Jodee Blanco. Educators, administrators, counselors, psychologists and others come from across the United States to learn more about relational aggression and other forms of bullying, as well as to share knowledge, ideas, and programs to help dimish the negative effects it can have on our youth.
The feedback we have received has been very positive. Newbury High School in Newbury, Ohio and John Paul I School in Montreal, Canada now have the GEMS program because of this conferences! For more information visit the National Conference on Girl Bullying site.

Yes, Bridget,
You’re perfect too. You’re a GEM! And Monica, the poster that Bridget is referring to is the one the Gr. 7 GEMS made for Community vs. Conformity.
