The GEMS survey was designed to provide schools and organizations with numerical data about the aggresssor/bully, victim/target, witness/bystander, adult intervention, and handling relational aggression. It is important to give the survey to your girls at the beginning of the school year (before you begin the GEMS program) as well as at the end of the school year. We usually give it during our GEMS retreat. This way you have data to show what was happening before and after the implimentation of the GEMS program in your school. This survey is NOT gender specific, so if you’d like to give it to your entire student body you can.
