If you still think that bullying is just “kids being kids” or that teasing, insults, excluding, or any other form of bullying is no big deal you need to read the following CNN article about the Massachusetts teenagers charged with the involvement in the suicide of Phoebe Prince. These students participated in ongoing bullying of Phoebe for at least three months which ulitmately led her to committ suicide.
Unfortunately, relational aggression is often overlooked by teachers, parents, coaches, and other adults because it doesn’t always leave physical wounds. However, the emotional damage it causes lasts a lifetime - or in some cases, like that of Phoebe Prince, can end a life.

hello. me and my best friend are the only friends eachother has at school. the reason for that is because we are bullied and hated by our whole grade. and we really do not like it but we let it go for a while but now it is getting to the point as to where we don’t want to go to school or are scared to go to school, or if one of us isn’t going to school then the other one will not go because we cannot face the torture we go through everyday alone. i can take being bullied and made fun of to a very large extent but this is way to much. and also this continues on text messages, at play practice, and on facebook. i honestly can’t take it. any advice.

I think that what you are going through sounds VERY serious! If you do not feel comfortable speaking with your homeroom teacher about it, then please set up a meeting to talk with Mrs. Ball or me. No ONE has the right to make you feel like you don’t belong at school, nor should you have to deal with this alone.
